Privacy Policy & Terms

Last updated: June 2026

Plain English, no surprises. Here's what we collect, how we use it, and the terms that govern working with us.

A note on this page: This is a plain-language policy provided for transparency, not legal advice. It should be reviewed by a qualified legal professional before being relied on for compliance in your jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

This policy describes what information FlashPoint Developers collects when you use this site or engage our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you submit our inquiry or contact form, we collect the information you provide: your name, email address, and the details of your project. You may optionally include your company name and an indicative budget range.

When you submit a review, we collect the name you choose to display, your star rating, and the text of your review.

Like most sites, our hosting provider and analytics tools may automatically collect basic technical details: browser type, approximate location, pages visited, and referring site.

How we use it

We use what you submit to reply to your inquiry and prepare a quote. If you become a client, we also use it to deliver the services you signed up for.

Technical and usage data helps us operate, secure, and improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Third parties

This site runs on a third-party hosting platform that also provides our database. Inquiry and review submissions are stored in our project database there. Email replies are handled by standard email providers.

We share information with these providers only to the extent needed to operate the site and respond to you.

Data retention

We keep submissions for as long as needed to respond to you and operate the site. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, and we'll do so unless we must keep it for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices and rights

You can contact us at contact@flashpointdevs.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws, and we'll do our best to honor them.

Cookies & analytics

We may use basic analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site, such as which pages are most popular. The data is used in aggregate to improve the site and isn't used to build advertising profiles.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this site and any engagement of FlashPoint Developers for services. By using the site or hiring us, you agree to them.

Overview

FlashPoint Developers ("we", "us") is a small web development team. These terms apply to visitors of this site and to clients who hire us for services such as design and development, including ongoing care plans. We're based in Oregon and work with clients across Oregon and Washington.

Quotes & scope

Prices displayed on this site (including on the Process & Pricing page) are starting points. Final pricing is quoted per project based on agreed scope. Work that falls outside the agreed scope is quoted and billed separately.

Payment

We typically take a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining balance due at launch. For larger projects we may agree milestone payments instead. The exact structure is confirmed in writing in each project agreement.

Ownership

Once a project is paid in full, you own your final website and the content we deliver for it. We retain the right to display the completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Revisions

Every project includes two rounds of revisions. Changes beyond those rounds, or outside the agreed scope, are quoted and billed separately as set out in the project agreement.

Care plans

Hosting and care plans are billed monthly. You can cancel with reasonable advance notice; specifics (notice period, what's included, and what isn't) are set out in your plan agreement.

Acceptable use & client responsibilities

You're responsible for ensuring that content and other materials you provide to us are accurate and that you have the rights to use them. We aren't liable for client-supplied content or claims that come from it.

You agree not to use the site or our services for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to disrupt the site, or to violate the rights of others.

Warranty & liability

Our services are provided "as is" to a reasonable professional standard. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and our total liability for any claim relating to the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the engagement giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site or our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Oregon.
